Try a new adventure activity with our flyboard lessons and instruction services for groups, families, business retreats, demonstrations, individuals, events, and friend outings.  This is an amazing water sport that is easily learned by any age group.  Have you ever experienced flyboarding in the sky or on a hoverboard, now it’s possible, with the new water jet pack that goes on your feet called the Flyboard. The Flyboard is a water sports piece of equipment which mounts to your feet like a wakeboard and causes the water that is flowing out of the jet ski to propulsion you in the air and under the water; however you desire to ride. The flyboard is all about balance and when you master the distribution of your body weight on the flyboard you’ll be able to control and experience this amazing flying water sport! It generally takes about 25 minutes and you can already move underwater like a fish and challenge the gravity like super hero! We offer lessons and also sale the flyboard equipment that customers can purchase.

The nozzles under your feet puts 100% of the propulsion from the jet ski and allows movement by tilting your feet and tilting the Flyboard. The flyboard is very intuitive: similar to learning to ride a bike, waterski, surfing, skating, air chair, wakeboard or any other activity that requires a little balance. Find your balance and you will be flying in the air like a bird or swimming through the water like a dolphin! For most people it takes about 10 to 25 minutes to learn the basics of flyboarding with an instructor. It takes about 3-4 hours of training to master the maneuvers and understand the operation of the Flyboard; which is less time needed than most water sports to concur. Then you will be able to take off from water and enjoy your Zapata Flyboard® for hours!

Flyboarding

Here are some most commonly asked questions about flyboarding:

Will most people be able to fit in the Flyboard Boots?

Yes, the Flyboard boot size adjusts from Men Size 6 to 12. Larger or smaller size boots may be available at request.

Do you need more than one person to operate the Flyboard?

We have a flyboard certified operator or instructor on the jet ski to power the flyboard. With the electronic management kit, you will be able to operate the flyboard by yourself, but we require that a person be on the jet ski as a spotter in case of emergency.

How high can you fly and how deep can you go under water?

You can fly up to 45 feet in the air and we recommend not to go deeper than 8 feet. If you go deeper than eight feet and you do not pressurize your ears, you can rupture your ear drums. Also we do not allow diving into murky and unknown waters.

How fast can you travel above and underwater with the Flyboard?

Up to 18.5 miles per hour.

How long does it take to fly the Flyboard?

In generally takes about 25 minutes with a flyboard certified instructor to get the basics. The more you practice using the flyboard the better you will become at operating the flyboards. It takes about four hours with your instructor and you will be able to take off from the water and enjoy the flyboard for hours. You can become a flying man, woman or teenager and swim like a dolphin. You can upgrade to make the Flyboard operational by the rider with complete electronic management kit which allows operation of the PWC throttle, kill switch and starter from the fly board itself. This method of operation allows for better flight precision by the rider and it’s intuitive use provides the flyboard operator exceptional underwater and in the air sensations which they are in control of.

What is the maximum weight of a person to be able to fly the Flyboard?

There is a 350 lbs weight restriction to use the flyboard. For a large person the more horsepower the jet ski will have to have. Our company offers the supercharged Yamaha 1812cc to accommodate all sizes of customers. For example; someone who weighs 255 pounds can fly up to 29.5 feet and travel proximately 18.5 miles per hour, with a 250 horsepower jet ski. On a 110 horsepower jet ski that same person can fly up to 13 to 16.5 feet and travel proximately 8 to 10.5 miles per hour.

The first version of this flight water jet pack is for a 2 persons use: the first person is on the PWC and the second uses the Flyboard®. This version allows for fast learning and great freedom of movement which depends on the feet tilt and balance of the rider. The second version is for a single use and allows a better flight precision which is intuitive for the rider and provides exceptional sensations and control. After several minutes you can generally move underwater like a dolphin and challenge the gravity like a superman!
