Visitors guide website and information to Lahontan Reservoir boat rentals and jet ski services on the water.  Enjoy boating, jet ski, watercraft rentals, lake tours, watercraft, waverunners, camping, and fishing.  Lahontan covers 12,000 surface acres when full and features fishing, wakeboarding, tubing, picnicking, boat launches, restrooms with showers and RV dump stations.

Lahontan is located on the Carson River, 18 miles west of Fallon and 45 miles east of Carson City.  The park is open year-round and can be accessed from several entrances off the interstate east of Silver Springs, and from an entrance off U.S. 95A, south of Silver Springs via Fir Avenue.

Lahontan dose allow four-wheel drive vehicles to launch their watercraft off beaches open to camping, but it’s not suggested.  Both sides of the park also provide paved boat launching and parking facilities, we only allow our watercraft to be launched from the ramps.  The Silver Springs boat launch is located near the day-use area, and fees to enter the park are required.  The Churchill Beach boat launch, at the North Shore Marina; come and enjoy water sport lessons and rentals at this lake in Nevada.
